There are tons and tons of wonderful and inspiring Instagram accounts. A few more that I adore (but who’s creators I do not personally know) include:
- Hannah Shaw | Kitten Lady – Hannah is an animal rescuer and educator who makes the world a better place for tiny felines and other orphan animals who need her.
- Meg Boggs – Meg is an incredible athlete and she’s all about fitness for every body, at every size.
- Lizzo – Lizzo is an amazing musician (she plays the flute like no other), singer and creator and has an incredible online space.
- Megan Jayne Crabbe | Bodyposipanda – Megan talks about everything from body acceptance to self-care, to sex, to inclusivity and so much more.
- Schuyler Bailar | Pink Manta Ray – Schuyler is the 1st trans D1 NCAA men’s athlete and advocate for inclusion.
- Jameela Jamil – Jameela is a fantastic feminist-in-progress who shares a ton on social justice and destroying diet culture.
- I Weigh – This is a space created by Jameela Jamil intended for radical inclusivity.

Ultimately, what matters is that your online spaces are your spaces. Follow those who inspire, educate and/or uplift you. Let go of those who bring you down. Diversify your feed with people who add something to your world and make you feel good.
And don’t be afraid to unfollow or mute anyone who’s toxic for you. Even if you know them. You have control over your feed and it should not be a space that’s bad for your mental well-being.
I’d love to know which creators you adore! Who inspires you, teaches you great things or simply fills your feed with goodness? Share a link to your favourite inspiring Instagram accounts in the comments below!
