Why buy bath bombs when you can make them yourselves? This easy recipe creates approximately 4 - 8 bath bombs (depending on the size of your mold) and will leave you with soft, healthy skin.
Thoroughly mix the dry ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowl.
Once they are well blended add the olive oil and essential oils. Mix them in quick, before the mixture starts to fizz. It’s easiest if you use your hands at this point.
Lastly, add the water. As mentioned above, I prefer to use a spray bottle. Spray and mix well (again, with my hands). The final product should be a crumbly mixture that holds shape only when you squeeze it together. It usually takes two or three sprays to get the right consistency. Using a teaspoon would also work, just be careful not to overdo it.
Pack the mixture into your mold of choice. You can easily use a cupcake pan or you can spring for some bath bomb molds on Amazon (link in the post). If it’s a two part mold make sure to overfill and pack both sides, then press them together tightly.
Keep them in a cool, dry area and let them dry out for a few hours. Enjoy!
