Treat yourself to a bentonite clay mask!
This awesome clay is the product of volcanic ash. How cool is that?! It’s thick and highly absorbent too (thanks to it’s ionic charge), removing build up and dirt.
Fair warning, bentonite pulses slightly as it dries and may leave you with a redish face (temporarily). It’s best to use once you’ve settled in for the night, as that redness will take a half an hour or so to fade. Do not place a metal spoon in your clay because it will destroy that ionic charge, stealing away one pretty nifty quality.
Bentonite works wonders for oily or problem skin, but can be used on normal skin as well.
How to create a mask:
Mix 1 Tbsp of Bentonite Clay with 1 Tsp or more of Water, until you get a thick, mud-like consistency. Apply to face or where desired (avoid sensitive areas).
Let sit for 15 to 20 minutes, remove with warm water and a face cloth and pat dry. Create this mask once or twice a week as part of your skin care routine.
An Delicious Essential Oil Diffuser Blend
A fruity, delicious diffuser blend that’s perfectly paired with the spring weather. If it’s a rainy day, let this blend remind you of all the goodness that’s going to be blooming in the near future. It will definitely lift your spirits!
Overnight oats are the perfect breakfast for a busy morning! It’s easy to put together the night before (and time will do the rest!)
Adding to the awesome, oats are a fantastic breakfast! They’re a great source of fiber and protein and have tons of manganese, which helps to control your blood sugar, keeping those awful energy crashes at bay.
Oats help to keep you fuller longer. And eating whole grains and good sources of dietary fiber has also been shown to reduce the risk of high blood pressure and heart attacks, which is a total win!
Add in fat heavy coconut milk and huzzah! Awesome breakfast!
Here’s my recipe for these Creamy Strawberry Cacao Overnight Oats:
1 Cup Certified Gluten Free Rolled Oats
1 Cup Coconut Milk
1/2 Cup Chopped Strawberries
2 Tbsp Maple Syrups
2 Heaping Tsp of Cacao Nibs
Mix everything together in a mason jar or Tupperware container and pop it in the fridge overnight. Breakfast will be ready for you tomorrow morning! Enjoy <3
