Changing your diet can seem incredibly daunting and it can be difficult to know where to start. The overwhelming idea of revamping the way we eat everyday can leave us feeling like a deer caught in headlights; we know that we should make a move, but we’re so intimidated that we simply stay where we are. But in all honesty, eating a diet made up of healthy food is not only one of the best things that you can possible do for your general well being, it’s actually not as complicated as it seems. Sometimes it can be as simply as making some healthy food swaps. Making healthy swaps over time can truly make a huge difference.
Loading up on healthy food doesn’t mean that you have to count calories (seriously, doing math before you eat puts a total damper on something that’s supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable). It doesn’t meant that you have to be a floppity jillionaire, making it rain dolla bills at the checkout. And it definitely doesn’t mean that you have to develop some mad gourmet chef skills and say goodbye to dessert.
Instead, healthy eating simply means swapping ingredients for healthier options and being open to trying new things. It may take some time, but once you find the right balance for you you will feel so much better! And dude, creating new recipes, or boosting old ones with healthier ingredients can be seriously fun!
